How to properly care for your Stained Glass work.


In general stained glass needs very little care, except for the occasional wipe with a lint free cloth. They should never be cleaned with industrial chemicals or scouring pads.

If you must clean the glass use distilled water and a soft cloth, damp the cloth, make sure it is well rung out so there will be no drips from the cloth. You can then carefully rub each piece of glass to remove dirt.

If this does not work you can use a mild, non abrasive, non corrosive cleaner like ?????(Dish soap\hand soap?)

You never want to use ammonia based cleaners or vinegar on your stained glass. These can help to speed corrosion or oxidize the metal used to keep the glass in place.
